Our programme is aligned with the NSW curriculum and progresses year by year, topic by topic, ensuring students build understanding in a clear, logical sequence. Each topic is supported by targeted assessments, including Axiom-designed exam papers as well as papers sourced from high-performing local public and private schools, allowing students to practise at an appropriate and aspirational standard. Alongside this structured approach, lessons remain fully personalised. If a student has specific areas they want to focus on, upcoming assessments, or concepts they’re struggling with at school, their private tutor will adapt lessons to support those needs.

The quantity of homework is determined in consultation with parents and based on an assessment of your child’s current understanding and progress. Tutors will provide additional practice to reinforce learning between lessons, but the quantity of the work will be determined together. Generally, the more consistent the practice, the quicker students consolidate concepts and progress confidently to more advanced year levels, however, we always tailor this to suit each child’s capacity, extra curricular activities, and school workload.

We understand - it happens. If your child is unwell and can’t attend a lesson, they’re entitled to a make-up lesson, scheduled either within the same term or during the immediate school holidays following, subject to the tutor's availability.

Most students benefit from one lesson per week for consistency and momentum. This allows students to maintain motivation and receive consistent support from tutors.
